Happy New Years everyone! I think it will be pretty quite tonight mostly cause its frelling freezing out. It really sucked walking to work this morning when it was -39 C with the wind chill. Although I guess bright side is were not getting any snow like Vancouver is or were not getting insane winds like down east.

2008 was a pretty awesome year, I hope that 09 is just as good.

In April I got to go to my first Convention. It was beyond awesome, I got to meet sgangel as well as a whole bunch of really nice Stargate Stars like Michael Shanks, Jason Momoa, Lexa Doig, Kavan Smith and so many more I can't remember it. I also have to give a shout out to Alex Zahara who is the nicest person I have ever met. He's from Alberta, which I didn't realize and was just really down to earth. 

I was introduced to some amazing fandoms this year as well like Fringe, Merlin, and Sanctuary especially.

I met some wonderful people on LJ

I also started up my first icontest community lantis_icontest  which has been so much fun.

 

I hope 2009 is just as awesome as 2008 was and I think my new years resolution will be to loose a few pounds, hopefully I can stick to it.
